Under NRS 484C.110 (2011) Driving Under the Influence of Drugs includes operating a vehicle while under the influence of any "chemical, poison or organic solvent or any compound or combination of any of these, to a degree which renders the person incapable of safely driving or exercising actual physical control of a vehicle" and for operating a vehicle "with an amount of a prohibited substance in his or her blood or urine that is equal to or greater than" as follows:

- Cocaine 150 50
- Cocaine Metabolite 150 50
- Heroin 2,000 50
- Heroin metabolite
- Morphine 2,000 50
- 6-monoacetyl morphine 10 10
- Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) 25 10
- Marijuana 10 2
- Marijuana metabolite 15 5
- Methamphetamine (meth) 500 100
- Phencyclidine 25 10
Penalties for Driving Under the Influence of Drugs
Penalties for a first DUI and Drug offense (DUID) include a jail sentence between two days and six months or community service, a fine ranging from $400 to $1,000, chemical test fee of $60, Victim Impact Panel and DUI School or substance abuse treatment at the driver's expense, 90 day suspension of your driving privileges. Penalties for a second conviction for DUID within seven years include 10 to 6 months in jail or residential confinement in a drug treatment center, a fine from $750 up to $1,000 plus court costs or community service, DUI School and a one year driver's license suspension.
A third DUID in 7 years includes the following penalties:
- 1 to 6 years in prison
- $2,000, minimum fine up to $5,000
- 3 year suspension of driving privileges or revocation
- Alcohol and drug evaluation
- Victim Impact Panel
